FAQ

Short questions, clear answers.

Everything clients usually want to know, in plain words. At the bottom, a part for the technically curious.

01Pricing

Pricing and upkeep.

Why is the first year of upkeep always included?

Because a site lives after launch: new photos, other hours, an offer. The year of upkeep covers that, and it is the reason the build can be this affordable.

What happens after the first year?

You can cancel or pause upkeep monthly. The site stays online and changes cost €79 an hour. You can come back any time, then again for 12 months.

Are prices net or gross?

All prices are net, plus 19% VAT. As a business you can usually reclaim it.

How is payment handled?

Half at the start, the other half once you have approved the site. Only then does it go online.

02Process

Process and handover.

How quickly is the site online?

A single page usually in one to two weeks, bigger sites in three to four. It depends most on how quickly the content arrives.

What do I need to bring?

Notes, unsorted is fine. Photos, phone photos often work. Your logo, if you have one. Opening hours, address, contact and the details for the legal notice.

Can I change the site myself?

You do not need to. Send me a short note and I take care of it. In return there are no updates, no security holes and none of the mess many site builders bring.

Who has access to my site?

You, since account and address are in your name. While upkeep runs I have my own login, which you can remove at any time.

03Email

Address and email.

Do I need an iPhone or a particular mail app?

No. Everything works with any phone and any computer.

I already have a web address. Does that work?

Yes. It stays yours; I only connect it to the new site. Your existing email keeps working.

Email on your address

Receivinginfo@your-address.com lands in the inbox you already use, whether Gmail, Outlook or iCloud. Free, and I set it up.

Sending tooTo also write from that address you need a mailbox of your own, e.g. with mailbox.org, Google or Microsoft. It works on iPhone, Android and Windows.

04Extras

Google, bookings, design.

Will I be found on Google?

The basics are in every package: the site loads fast and is built so Google understands it well. For local businesses a well-kept Google listing helps too, and I am happy to help.

Can I offer appointments or reservations?

Yes, through a tool you may already use, like OpenTable, Calendly or Doctolib. I build it in cleanly.

I also need a logo or business cards.

For that I recommend Studio Aeluna: a trained communication designer with real craft. I then build your logo straight into the site.

Is AI used?

Yes, for optimisation. Passwords and your customers' data stay out of it.

05Tech

Under the hood.

What do you build with?

No WordPress, no site builder. Every page is hand-written HTML and CSS that a small Python script assembles into finished static pages. There is no database and no server code to attack. Delivery runs over Cloudflare's global network (Workers), via HTTPS with HSTS and a strict Content Security Policy.

And privacy, speed, accessibility?

Fonts are served from the site itself, there are no cookies and no tracking, so no cookie banner either. Images are sized to fit, animations respect the reduce-motion setting, language versions are linked via hreflang, contrast follows WCAG AA. Every version is checked at phone and desktop size before it goes live.

What does “150 versions” mean?

Each version is a deployment: the site is rebuilt, put online and checked. Small steps, often repeated, instead of one big delivery at the end.
